How-to Apply Supernet's DNS Settings 
Windows 95/98
      
        - Double Click on the My Computer 
        Icon. 
- Double Click on the Dialup 
        Networking Icon. 
- With your right mouse button, 
        click on the Supernet Icon and click on properties.
        
          - Click on the button or tab 
          labeled Server Type. 
- Click on the button in the 
          lower right called TCP/IP Settings. 
- Be sure the option 'Specify 
          Name Server Addresses' is selected. Check to see that your DNS 
          settings are as follows:
 Primary DNS: 24.140.1.3
 Secondary DNS: 24.140.1.2
- If your numbers are 
          different, then replace the numbers in the Primary DNS and Secondary 
          DNS fields with the new DNS numbers listed above. 
 
- Click OK, and keep clicking OK 
        until you've cleared the screen. 
Windows Me
      
      
        - Double Click on the "My 
        Computer" icon. 
- Double Click on the "Control 
        Panel" icon 
- Double Click on the Dialup 
        Networking Icon. 
- With your right mouse button, 
        click on the "Supernet" icon and click on properties.
        
          - Click on the button or tab 
          labeled "Networking". 
- Click on the button in the 
          lower right called TCP/IP Settings. 
- Be sure the option 'Specify 
          Name Server Addresses' is selected. Check to see that your DNS 
          settings are as follows:
 Primary DNS: 24.140.1.3
 Secondary DNS: 24.140.1.2
- If your numbers are 
          different, then replace the numbers in the Primary DNS and Secondary

- Click OK, and keep clicking OK 
        until you've cleared the screen. 
Windows NT
      
        - Double Click on the "My 
        Computer" icon. 
- Double Click on "Dial up 
        Networking". 
- Select "Supernet" from the drop 
        down menu. 
- Click "More", and select "Edit 
        entry and modem properties...". 
- Click on the tab labeled 
        "Server". 
- Click on "TCP/IP settings...". 
- Under the area labeled "Specify 
        name server addresses" make sure the settings are as follows:
        
          - Primary DNS: 24.140.1.3 
- Secondary DNS: 24.140.1.2 
- Click OK. 
 
- Click OK. 
- Click Close. 
Windows 2000
      
      
        - Click on Start. Point to 
        Settings and select "Control Panel". 
- Double click on "Network and 
        Dial-up Connections". 
- Right Click on the Supernet 
        Icon, and select properties. 
- Click on the tab labeled 
        "Networking". 
- In the white box labeled 
        "Components checked are used by this connection" double click on 
        "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)". 
- In the area labeled "Use the 
        following DNS server addresses" make sure you see the following:
        
          - Primary DNS: 24.140.1.3 
- Secondary DNS: 24.140.1.2 
 
- If they are different make sure 
        you change them to the numbers listed above. 
- Click OK 
- Click OK 
Windows XP
      
      
        - Click on Start, then select 
        "Control Panel". 
- Double click on "Network and 
        Dial-up Connections". 
- Right Click on the Supernet 
        Icon, and select properties. 
- Click on the tab labeled 
        "Networking". 
- In the white box labeled 
        "Components checked are used by this connection" double click on 
        "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)". 
- In the area labeled "Use the 
        following DNS server addresses" make sure you see the following:
        
          - Primary DNS: 24.140.1.3
- Secondary DNS: 24.140.1.2 
 
- If they are different make sure 
        you change them to the numbers listed above. 
- Click OK 
- Click OK 
Macintosh with MacTCP (OS 
      7.1 to 7.5) 
      
        - Click on the Apple menu.
        
- Select Control Panel and click 
        on MacTCP. 
- Highlight PPP, and then click 
        More.
        
          - In the bottom right, under 
          DNS, check to see that your IP addresses are as follows:
 24.140.1.3
- 24.140.1.2
 
 
      
        
          - If they are different replace 
          the current addresses with the numbers listed above. Make sure that 
          the first is selected as the default. 
- Click OK. 
- Close the MacTCP window.
        
Macintosh with TCP/IP (OS 
      7.6 and higher)
      
        - Click on the Apple menu.
        
- Select Control Panel and click 
        on TCP/IP.
        
          - In the Name Server Addr. 
          field, check to see that your DNS settings are as follows:
 Primary DNS: 24.140.1.3
 Secondary DNS: 24.140.1.2
- If they are different then 
          replace the current addresses with the DNS numbers listed above. 
- Close the TCP/IP window. 
 
- When prompted, Click Save. 
Macintosh OS X
      
        - Click on the "System 
        Preferences" icon.. 
- Click on the "Network" icon at 
        the top of the window. 
- Click on the tab labeled 
        "TCP/IP". 
- At the bottom left hand corner 
        of the window click on the lock icon to make changes. 
- Type in your computer's 
        administrator username and password. 
- Click on the drop down menu 
        labeled "Configure", and choose "Manually". 
- At the bottom of the screen the 
        box labeled DNS Addresses should have the following info:
        
          - In the Name Server Addr. 
          field, check to see that your DNS settings are as follows:
 Primary DNS: 24.140.1.3
 Secondary DNS: 24.140.1.2
- If these need to be changed 
          you can do so by clicking inside the white box and typing in the 
          preceding numbers. 
 
- Click Apply.
